PGA Statement on the Situation in Thailand

PGA wishes to express its deep concern at the military coup that has occurred in Thailand.

In this regard, PGA urges maximum restraint be used and an abstention from violence or any kind by any party during these difficult times.

In common with others, PGA also calls for a swift restoration of constitutional, civilian, democratic rule as well as an immediate all-inclusive dialogue to facilitate this process.
