During the meeting PGA members from these participating countries had a direct dialogue with Dr. Thoraya Obaid, Executive Director, UNFPA, to determine if these activities were in line with the future interests of UNFPA and to see how best to organize them with input from UNFPA.

The Convenor of the Sustainable Development, Health and Population (SDHP) Program, Dr. Ermelinda Meksi, MP (Albania), PGA Executive Committee Member, chaired the session. There were numerous suggestion from several mps to put forward ideas that can lead to program projects, especially on issues relevant to specific regions.
