Inaugurates Nigeria's Parliamentarians for Global Action

..In his address, the Chairman of the Nigerian Group, Hon. Namdas, said:

PGA, with over 1350 members in 140 countries was committed to the defence of human rights, the rule of law, democracy, human security and gender equality.  One of the core principles of PGA is protecting the human rights of democracy activists, especially parliamentarians in opposition, women in politics and vulnerable groups.

PGA's International Peace and Security Program organized a 2 Day Regional Pacific Islands Parliamentary Workshop in Fiji from 6-7 May, 2024

Participants benefited from several expert presentations. Points of Action were identified at the conclusion of the Workshop to promote accession to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime in participant States in the region.
