World Oceans Day 2025

World Oceans Day, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2008, is held annually on 8 June. This year's theme, "Wonder: Sustaining what sustains us," aims to raise global awareness of the benefits humankind derives from the ocean and our individual and collective duty to use its resources sustainably for all people of current and future generations.
