CAPE VERDE - Certificate of Appreciation from the President of the National Assembly of Cape Verde, H.E. Dep. Jorge Santos, in acknowledgement of PGA`s contribution in organizing the PGA Lusophone States Workshop on the Ratification and Implementation of the Arms Trade Treaty. PGA has played an important role in bringing together Parliamentarians from 8 Portuguese Speaking States, and the discussions and bilateral meeting held with High-Level Officials, including the Speaker and Acting President, resulted in the deposit of the Instrument of Ratification of the Arms Trade Treaty by the Government of Cape Verde, on September 23rd, 2016.
