On December 13th, 2022, PGA's International Peace and Security Program was pleased to be informed by PGA members that the Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA) of the Republic of South Sudan approved the Biological Weapons Convention.

PGA respectfully encourages the President of South Sudan to give final assent in the very near future so that South Sudan may deposit its BWC Instrument of Accession in early 2023 and warmly congratulates Hon. Alma Yak, Hon. Stanslaus Jada and Amb. Joshua Franco Paul.
