Mozambique - PGA Member Hon. Ivone Soares has welcomed the publication of Mozambique's First National Report to the United Nations Security Council 1540 Committee.

Saúdo a publicação do Primeiro Relatório Nacional de Moçambique ao Comité 1540 do Conselho de Segurança das Nações Unidas, tal como apresentado pela Missão Permanente de Moçambique às Nações Unidas a 22 de Novembro de 2021. Como membro da PGA, e juntamente com a PGA, ao longo dos últimos 6 meses, tenho tido o prazer de encorajar o Governo de Moçambique a dar este importante passo, no cumprimento das nossas obrigações legais internacionais e como uma importante contribuição para a paz e segurança internacionais.

I welcome the publication of Mozambique's First National Report to the 1540 Committee of the United Nations Security Council, as submitted by the Permanent Mission of Mozambique to the United Nations on November 22, 2021. As a member of PGA, and together with PGA, over the past 6 months, I have been pleased to encourage the Government of Mozambique to take this important step, in fulfilling our international legal obligations and as an important contribution to international peace and security.
