A PGA delegation led by Executive Committee member, Dip Margarita Stolbizer met with high level officials of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights to discuss the ratification of the Kampala Amendments and the voluntary agreements with the ICC.

Dra. María Fernanda Rodríguez (Subsecretary of Justice Access), Dr. Martín Casares (Subsecretary of Criminal Policy) and Amb. Eduardo Curia (International Affairs Director), were open to analyzing the language of the framework if the voluntary agreements with the ICC. Moreover, the Ministry of Justice officials agreed to consider the Kampala Amendments ratification with maximum urgency highlighting the role that Argentina has always had regarding supporting the ICC and protecting the integrity and effectiveness of the Rome Statute.
