PGA Congratulates Grenada on becoming the 72nd State Party to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime

With Grenada’s accession, 72 States are now Parties, two have signed it and 19 have been invited to accede to the Convention.

On 22 April 2024, Grenada deposited the instrument of accession to the Convention on Cybercrime

PGA was pleased to organize a Regional Caribbean Parliamentary Workshop Promoting Accession to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime and its Two Additional Protocols in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago in July 2023. Hon. Speaker Leo Cato, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Grenada actively participated in this Regional Workshop and kept PGA periodically informed of subsequent advocacy/outreach initiatives that he undertook to encourage the Government of Grenada to accede to the Budapest Convention on Cybercrime.
