Event: PGA Participation in Organization of American States (OAS) hybrid event - “Advancing the Fight Against Nuclear Terrorism: Recommendations and Tools for the Universalization and Implementation of the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism (ICSANT)

Description: PGA's International Peace and Security Program was invited to attend this virtual event which had, as its objective, identifying different means and mechanisms for promoting universalization and implementation of the International Convention for the Suppression of Acts of Nuclear Terrorism (ICSANT) in Member States of the Organization of American States (OAS). ICSANT seeks to prevent nuclear and radiological material falling into the wrong hands of non-state actors which can pose significant security risks at the national, regional as well as at the international level.
