The Global Initiative Against Impunity for International Crimes and Serious Human Rights Violations: Making Justice Work is a civil society-led initiative that seeks to address an increasing climate of impunity for core international crimes and serious human rights violations through fostering comprehensive justice and accountability.

The four-year Global Initiative against Impunity is led by nine international NGOs (Civil Rights Defenders, Coalition for the International Criminal Court, European Centre for Constitutional and Human Rights, FIDH, Impunity Watch, Parliamentarians for Global Action, Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice, REDRESS and TRIAL) with the support of two associate partners (International Commission of Jurists and the Auschwitz Institute for the Prevention of Genocide and Mass Atrocities).

Making Justice Work

Join MakingJusticeWork.org, an online platform by the Global Initiative Against Impunity that aims to strengthen coordination, information sharing, and strategic action among civil society organisations fighting against impunity. The members-only content library includes advocacy, legal, and media resources, as well as events and forums for discussing important topics and policies.
