Hon. Mohamed Talebna, MP (Mauritania)
I am delighted to hear that the Government of Mauritania deposited its Instrument of Ratification of the Arms Trade Treaty on 23rd September, 2015. As Founder of the PGA Group in the National Assembly of Mauritania, and together with my colleagues in the PGA Group, we effectively ensured parliamentary ratification of the ATT in our country earlier this year and, subsequently and also successfully, persuaded our colleagues in Government to make a swift Cabinet decision endorsing ratification. With this ratification of the ATT, I now urge the Government to give full force and effect to implementing this treaty without delay. PGA Member Hon. Mohamed Talebna MP (Mauritania)
