PGA convened a Strategy Session on the Role of Parliamentarians in Promoting Non-Discrimination based on Sexual Orientation & Gender Identity in the sidelines of its Annual Parliamentary Forum 2015.

El Salvador will become the 124th State Party to the only permanent system of international and domestic justice aimed at putting an end to impunity for international crimes.

The Legislative Assembly of El Salvador has voted for accession to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC), paving the way to become the 124th State Party to the international criminal court.

PGA calls on all its members to repeal all discriminatory laws that sanction the permissibility of human rights abuses against girls and women, enact legislation that protects their rights and promotes their participation in all public spheres.

The Roundtable took place in the Parliament of Malaysia on 17 November and gathered more than 60 participants.

Through the Parliamentary Platform, PGA has launched targeted campaigns in selected countries, including Malaysia, to raise awareness among Parliamentarians, strengthen political will and provide technical assistance for initiatives on this issue.

Today, the Senate of the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) voted quasi unanimously for the adoption of the Law implementing the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in the domestic legal order.
